4-cylinder in-line with double overhead camshaft and 16v, chain timing and common rail electronic injection. Electrically actuated variable geometry turbocharger, water-cooled intercooler and exhaust gas recirculation via double cooled EGR. The engine of the new D-Max N60B maintains the architecture of the previous model and the reliability that has always distinguished ISUZU engines.
Built to Withstand
The structure of the cab, chassis and suspension has been totally revised and now the entire D-Max N60 range features a passenger compartment and a load compartment built with very high strength steels and new progressive deformation points, thus combining lightness and strength. In the 4X2 version, the towing capacity is 2500 kg (with the trailer braked) and the maximum permissible axle masses have also increased: +200 kg front and +40 kg rear.
