4-cylinder in-line with double overhead camshaft and 16v, chain timing and common rail electronic injection.
Electrically actuated variable geometry turbocharger, water-cooled intercooler and exhaust gas recirculation via double cooled EGR.
The engine of the new D-Max N57 maintains the architecture of the previous model and the reliability that has always distinguished ISUZU engines.
Built to Withstand
The towing capacity is 3500 kg (with the trailer braked) and the maximum permissible axle masses have also increased: +100 kg front and +40 kg rear.
The structure of the cab, chassis and suspension has been totally revised and now the entire D-Max N57 range features a passenger compartment and a load compartment built with very high strength steels and new points of progressive deformation, thus combining lightness and strength.
The new D-Max doesn’t deny its origins
The new D-Max N57 doesn’t deny its origins; Off-roading remains its natural habitat. The minimum ground clearance, the intake system and the rear differential vent have been redesigned and ensure a wading capacity of 800mm on the new D-Max N57.
